I am delighted to announce a new design for The Douglas-Menzies Ukulele Case for autumn 2012 made in a 100% wool cloth from the famous Alsport range of tweed by John G Hardy. Based in Yorkshire, the heart of the UK textile industry John G Hardy is one of the worlds foremost cloth houses and Alsport tweed has been appreciated for many generations as the ultimate thornproof fabric.
The case comes in concert size and has a carry strap handle on the side as well as a longer strap on the back of the case so that you also have the option of carrying it on your back. The lining is in a lovely maroon satin and a protective layer of wadding makes the case fit snugly inside to give protection. A leather strap buckle completes the stylish look.
Please allow up to two weeks to have the case made and for delivery. On receipt of your order you will be contacted for the exact set of measurements of your concert ukulele to ensure the best fit.
